Charity evening: Challenge at Mount Everest
Dr. Michele Ufer has put his award-winning documentary Marathon at Mount Everest. The highest 42,195 km of the world again into the service of a good cause. Following the film screening, there was a round of discussions on the topics of motivation, mental toughness, big goals, applied psychology and a book signing session.
The proceeds from the tickets, food & drinks flowed 100% into the construction of a school in the Nepalese village of Mandra, which was destroyed by the earthquake in 2015.
The evening was organized by pupils of the Nepal group of the Heinrich-Heine-Gymnasium in Dortmund.
