Sports psychologist Dr. Michele Ufer advocates that limits be carefully explored and respected. He talked to athletes and top performers about limit competence.

They seem to climb weightlessly on overhanging cliffs. They run to the summit of Kilimanjaro, twice on the same day. They complete the exhausting Ironman competition 20 days in a row. Or they run 250 kilometres through the desert - like Michele Ufer. For his book "Limit Skills", the extreme sportsman and running psychologist has set himself people for whom there seem to be no limits - and found that these top performers, from sport and other areas, know exactly their limits. Georg Howahl talked to him about how to acquire competence in dealing with your limits in order to expand them. the inverview was published in various German newspapers.
